My View:
These kinds of legends are often the result of powerful evil spirits protecting the person.

Around two years ago, I witnessed a shocking event:
five malevolent spirits had taken control of a young girl, probably around ten years old,
using her as their puppet in what looked like a supernatural performance.

Once the spirits departed, the girl's body—despite appearing to have been pierced—was completely unharmed.
