Buddhism being conditioned II
One
practitioner that has followed me for long reminds me of a possible reason why
some people can’t follow me in my book.
Humans are used to being pulled by ropes, and once the rope is gone,
they are lost and don’t know what to do.
A lost rope, sounds to be so horrible!
However, I have been challenging ropes all
my life. Humans are either bound or duped by ropes. I have been striving to
fight against ropes to the end. Therefore, I explain methods of shaking off
ropes in my books.
Luckily,
Buddhism is more than knowledge. It provides me guides and power of support as I
follow on. With its supporting power, I
don’t complain about lacking bosom friends like others.
Same as the path
I have walked, I don’t feel content with the explanation of Buddhist terms,
either. Though Buddhist terms are important in transmitting information, it's also
the start of stepping into mazes when digging into the world of Buddhist
terms.
Buddhist terms
are like ropes. Unless you let go of the rope first, you are sure to be duped round
and round in the maze. But if you are a person who can’t proceed on without ropes,
please hold firmly to the ropes, then.
